OnlyFans agency glossary
The words creators, chatters and agency managers use every day, defined in one or two sentences.

- Agency split
- The share of a creator's earnings an agency keeps in exchange for management, marketing and chatting. It is agreed per contract and calculated after the platform fee. Calculate what's left after fees
- Chatter
- A person who replies to fans on behalf of a creator, usually as part of an agency team working in shifts. Good chatters keep context on each fan so the conversation feels continuous. Roles and permissions for chatters
- Expired fan
- A fan whose subscription ended. Expired fans can still be messaged on free pages and are often the first segment agencies try to win back. Subscribed and expired segments
- Fan CRM
- A tool that keeps a profile per fan, with history and internal notes, so anyone on the team can pick up a conversation without asking what happened before. Fan profiles and notes
- Free page
- An OnlyFans page fans can follow without paying a subscription. Creators earn from PPV and tips, and often use it to drive fans to a paid page.
- Mass message
- One message sent to many fans at once, often filtered by list or by whether they are subscribed. FansTracker does not send mass messages yet; it is in development.
- Platform fee
- The share of every fan payment the platform keeps. OnlyFans states a 20% fee in its terms, so creators receive 80% before any agency split. OnlyFans fee calculator
- PPV (pay-per-view)
- Content a fan pays to unlock, usually sent inside a message. On OnlyFans it is priced per item, on top of the subscription.
- Renewal (rebill)
- When a subscription automatically charges again at the end of its period. A fan with renewal off will expire unless they resubscribe.
- Two-factor authentication (2FA)

- Uncertain delivery
- A message whose send could not be confirmed, for example after a timeout. FansTracker flags it and blocks a blind retry so a fan never receives the same message twice. Protection against duplicate sends
- Unified inbox

- Vault

- VIP page (paid page)
- An OnlyFans page that charges a monthly subscription. Many creators run a free page and a VIP page side by side, which counts as two accounts.
